How You Can Build a Global Marketing Career in Korea Using Free Claude Skills
Global marketing is one of the best career paths for foreigners in Korea as more brands go global. Here is a free Claude setup that helps you build the portfolio to land one.

Global marketing is one of the more foreigner-friendly careers in Korea. Korean brands are trying to go global, and they need people who can sell to those markets in a language and style locals understand.
But wanting the job is not the hard part. Standing out is. You need a portfolio that separates you from other applicants, and building one with Claude skills is a fast, free way to do exactly that. Here is where to get them and how to actually use them.
What these Claude skills actually are
Claude skills are pre-built workflows you add to Claude. This one gives you dozens: ad copy, sales emails, content planning, funnel building, creative strategy. Each is trained for a specific job, so instead of starting from a blank slate, you get a tool that already knows how a good marketer thinks about the task.
Set it up in about 90 seconds
Open Claude Code and download the skills you want. I would grab all of them and figure out later which ones fit how you work.

If you’re using another agent tool like Codex, you can refer to the instructions here.
How to turn that into a career portfolio
Now use the skills to build something real. Pick a Korean brand that is going global. Ask the skills to plan a launch strategy, map a content calendar, and draft an ad campaign for a specific audience. In one afternoon you can produce a full sample marketing campaign for a brand you would love to work for, without filming or hiring a brand strategist or copywriter.
Here is a sample set of K-beauty visuals I built using the tools in the skill set.

First, I asked Claude to run a competitor analysis on a K-beauty brand I was interested in. I used this skill:
/marketing-skills:competitor-profiling
analyze the brand concept and images displayed in this instagram url, the images, brand keywords, voices: [insert IG URL you’re interested in]It hands you storytelling keywords, which you then use to build prompts for the visuals. Next, use the image skill:
/marketing-skills:image are you able to generate some prompts that fit the image of [inset IG URL of the K-beauty brand you’re interestd in replicating]You will get some prompts like this:
Ultra close-up of glossy pink gel swatch smeared on skin, showing sticky
"chewy-glaze" texture with light bubbles and shine, warm skin tone contrast
against candy pink product, soft window lighting, beauty macro photography,
shallow focus, 1080x1080Take that prompt and drop it into Nano Banana Pro or ChatGPT. I am using Google Flow here, but any AI image tool works. Generate the visuals from the prompt, and attach a reference photo from the brand so the tool knows the direction you want. From there, let your own taste take over.

Rebuild the storytelling and the launch strategy your own way.
Strategize like an actual brand marketer!
Before trying it out…
One thing to keep in mind. The tools are there to help you, not replace the actual work. Your job is to have the taste to fix it, cut it, and make it sharp. That judgment is the skill you are developing, and these tools just let you practice it 10x faster.
Start building your AI marketing portfolio today, and walk into interviews with work most candidates never bother to make.
If this helped you, send it to someone who needs help with the job market.
